See, I’m a great believer in the power of negative thought. And in an age of affirmation, of self-help and self-love, of the rebirth of wide-eyed idealism and the power of positive thinking – I’m happy to be a champion of skepticism and doubt. That night, I rediscovered my role, my reason, and my rage. Anonymous
About This Quote

It is human nature to question and consider all possibilities. It is our job as adults to tell the truth and teach our children to do the same. We can not let them believe that everything their friends say is the truth and the only way forward. There are those who will always try to make us doubt ourselves and those around us.

It is up to adults to keep their children from falling prey to such lies. Everyone has flaws and those flaws can not be ignored if we want to be successful at anything. However, it is possible to admit our flaws and move on.

There was a time when people covered up their flaws by lying about them or by becoming an expert on a topic just so they could seem better than someone else. Today, we address our flaws openly and honestly, giving them a name for all of us to address them with instead of simply dismissing or ignoring them.
